Well it;s not the military that makes the guns
it;s the big arms companies. And where better to test out new gun ideas than in a FPS? Thousands of testers giving you their opinion (and teabags) They must konw that the peopel that buy the guns arte still children at heart and will probably wet their pants of the new cool looking gun over the new efficient gun.
