but thats awful, just noise. I've never understood drum solo's, I've always seen them as an interlude to give the important guys in a band a break (Okay so that is trolling).
Honestly though, the most important thing about a drummer IMO, is that they need to keep to a rhythm, turning the drums into some kind of art form ruins it a little for me.

I have heard some epic drum solos and think drummers like Travis Barker are amazing but that guy didn't seem to have any rhythm to what he was playing.
