Cats are sorta OCD like that, they REALLY don't like/do change easily, try moving house, for example,
one of mine is, very much so, anyway, the other's pretty relaxed and adaptable, but the first one, you so much as move her food bowl a foot one way and you'd think you'd put clingfilm over it or something...
