Ah, I remember these puzzles...
...from the Professor Layton DS games. There is a technique to them, but I'm buggered if I can remember it now...!

Have gotten the block out on level 1. The trick is to forget about the red one for a bit and try and navigate the smaller blue blocks behind it...
