Whenever a female friend tries to tell me how unreasonable men are, this is the kind of thing I point out. No man has ever screamed at the existence of a movie, or cried their eyes out when a band broke up.
I am a huge fan of The Beatles, and I would have LOVED to be alive when they were together, but on finding out they were going to stop performing, I would have said "Oh, fuck" and got on with my life.
