THREADJACK (sorry Jeccius) - Can anyone recommend a reliable way of downloading content from iPlayer (or 4OD, for that matter) to be saved indefinitely? Up until recently I have been using 'get_iplayer', but for the last few weeks it's been failing to download content. I'm not trying to pirate the BBC or anything - I'm a teacher, and it's handy to be able to show kids things during lessons. I don't mind buying software to do this, but just need to know that it will definitely work. Many thanks.

iPlayer+
I use iPlayer+, which is Mac-only I'm afraid. Many times, downloads will fail a few times before succeeding.
