As long as he can proove neither he or his mates made anything due to the dodgy meetings then let him sort his own life out.
I get the feeling the press smell blood so it will be interesting to see how it pans out. I'm also taking bets that if he does go he ends up as a non exec for a defence contractor within 18 months. Thats how it worked in the good old days.
