i know you're just trying to show a reasning for this
but think of it another way:
people just DIED because of a book. There are plenty of other copies. But apparently every single copy of that book is delivered to earth by God himself, and can't be destroyed.
Do you have any idea how loony that sounds to a sane person?
your examples with the cats and dogs is so off the scale that it is laughable. Have you ever tried burning a cat? They get really pissed off, mainly cos if you burn them enough, they will DIE.
Pretty sure that books are not feeling that same pain as they go up in flames.
If God was truly omnipotent, and he really cared about books so much, then don't you think he'd deliver them directly from the sky, rather than rely on us humans to write and print them out for him?
