Well as Charlie Brooker and his team of researchers found out the whole Invisible Children thing was entirely a cover
for the actual intention of making lots of cash to fund Christian fundamentalist's attempts to muster the world's youth into supporting them thru giving them a seemingly undeniable B&W cause to support, replete with youth pleasing stickers and dance routines, and it was doing damn well right up till Brooker exposed said ulterior motives (*edit* and the fact Kony turns out to have left the country 6 years ago so the whole thing is actually massively out of date) and, well, then this happened!
And yes the whole thing does indeed sicken, particularly if there may also, as Clay points out, have been an agenda tacked on later to garner support for another 'resources for Merka' war, but to end in quite such a camply exuberant manner as this, c'mon feller, you HAVE to love the inherent and frankly unbelievably ironic schadenfreude that their chosen leader to fight God's cause (as they see it) was in fact a deeply closetted gay guy who only wanted to direct huge camp dance numbers (and therefore hence his abilities with viral videos), and manages to destroy everything they were planning by the power of naked voguing when the realities of his situation all got too much for him! ;)
*edit* if it makes you feel better let's hope he becomes a massive gay icon for 'bringing them down from the inside' and becomes a gay rights campaigner forming an equally strongly supported group for gay christians against insidious far right fundamentalist's attempts to pervert everyone's kids into Soldiers For God thru propaganda and peer pressure mind control, and gets TWICE as much financial support than they did! LET BATTLE COMMENCE!
