Hmm, good luck with the train. Not got a book, music or phone game? You could always hold a loud conversation with someone on your phone. That always creates an atmosphere of bon homie in the carriage.

I have all of the above, I find it hard to concentrate when I'm travelling.
I'm now being entertained by listening in on the locals. It's weird being surrounded by scouse again!

I hear you.
I had a flight back from Helsinki recently with a massive hangover. Luckily, I'd been given 20hrs of chill-ut music from one of our fellow B3tans (name escapes me) and it sorted me right out! Still couldn't sleep though, despite having 3 seats to myself :(
