I've just got in from watching The Dark Knight Rises.
I thought it was a bit shit, to be honest. There's about 90 minutes of Not Much Happening, and when stuff did happen I didn't find it that interesting.
Then there are the awkward death bits. "Gnrg" <flails> "Gnh" <sags> "blgh" <droops>

Bane is a fairly conventional baddie
So the film felt quite conventional. It was quite a lot like Die Hard, actually.

Far too much Emo soul searching, not enough punching stuff.
'Clever' Bane was a nice idea, but I still wanted him to get pumped up at some point.
