Went to that 'Lympics football the other day.
Couldn't draw money out outside as the Visa sponsorship meant cashpoints were closed.
Inside the pissing card machines broke so couldn't get food or drink for about 4 hours.
Then we weren't allowed outside to hunt for another cash point.
God knows what I'd make of it all if I didn't at least like some sport.

I stayed well away.........
and close to a large HD TV and beer stash. It looked a clusterfuck from the start. When the ticketing bollox occurred 'you can apply for as many events as you like, but you might not get all, you might get none, but you have to have the cash in there for 2 months before we take it FOR ALL THE APPLIED TICKETS!!' total codswallop. Now they are filling the stadia with the Army and (luckily for them) last minute ticket buyers.
My Spaniel could have done a better job, if only by licking his nuts periodically .

I've got no interest in the sport whatsoever
So I'm treating it like any other tv-based gossip engine (e.g. X-Factor, Big Brother) and just changing the subject whenever it comes up in conversation.
