Jury's out, I guess. But reading the hateful comments sure is entertaining. I might start one about paedophilia!

I'm certainly veering towards the "that's very sick, and thus funny" even though I know it's not the 'right' answer. But I'm comfortable enough to laugh at just about anything. That cartoon, Electric Retard was a case in point (not sure it exists any more cos no-one would host it).
My girlfriend's younger cousin posted about this site yesterday on her FB feed and was quite upset (her mum's got leukemia). So, whilst I see, appreciate and enjoy witnessing how far people are willing to push a 'joke' I can see that other people aren't willing to cross those boundaries.

that people will kneejerk to anything. Hasn't even occurred to them that it's a "metajoke"!

I told my girlfriend's cousin to ignore the trollbait and tried to give her some wisdom based on my jaundiced view of the world. Not sure I cheered her up at all but the sooner people realise that the world is largely full of cunts, the better. I should become a teacher.
