Sherbet
was the band in the 70s. They had lots of hits/fans in Australia, in the 80s they changed to Sherbs. Not sure why...then basically faded into the mist....Lead singer Daryl Braithwaite had a big hit with 'The Horses', which so many Aussies claim should be our national anthem. The fact it was written by Ricki Lee Jones and has nothing at all to do with our 'golden soil' or 'girt by sea' doesn't seem to phase these fools.......but it has got something to do with horses.
