Not really worth it unless you've got nothing better to do.
Not very interesting facts: It was directed by Tom Savini - king of the 80s slasher movie effects and make up (check out friday the 13th, The Burning and The Prowler for some of his best work). He was also Sex Machine in Dusk til Dawn

I like the remake.
I think it was just made because someone would have anyhow as some copyright thing had run out. So they did it themselves in a way, got Savini to do it.
Not a bad effort if I say so myself.
