So I found an audiobook of a section of William Mavor's "The English spelling book" from 1818 on librivox and remixed it.
I rearranged the words in alphabetical order and tried to give each pair of words some meaning (angry banker, clumsy dancer, ...).
To make it a bit more interesting, it sounds like you're turing on an old school radio and tuning it until you stumble upon the reading of the words.
As an intro you'll hear strange recipes (which I found on librivox as well and which I modified a bit).
