It all started to go wrong
at the bit in the film when one group of monkeys sees a big black rectangle thing and develops tool skills and eats meat and uses a tapir bone to kill another monkey and goes into space and outsmarts a computer and a bit I didn't understand. the end.

That's usually where it goes wrong for me too
After that there's the Blue Danube, then I find myself waking up on the sofa at 2:30am with half a mug of cold tea in front of me with the film finished long ago and the screensaver bouncing around.
