I dunno, this seems to be a very important part of his life.
He has a massive, longwinded, difficult-to-believe-all-these-things-could-happen-to-one-person story every week.

My own brother tells the most mundane lies which hint at awesomeness but never really reach far. Like the time he was a session guitarist for Aerosmith but still living at home, with his mum, driving a delivery van and having my mum make his packed lunch every day.
