Thanks for keeping it warm till I got here.
I was linked, by a massive lurker friend, to a glorious story about Peaches Geldof in Celebrities part II.
A whole new world of wonder opened up to me. I mostly read and posted on QOTW for a while, survived, just, and *clicked* on the other boards.
For various reasons, I then had to spend more time at home than usual and got the balls up to post on /links more, and now have an addiction, symptoms of which are my bookmark menu contains about 60 sites, and none of my friends send me stuff anymore as they were sick of me saying……’oh yes, I have seen that’
Then after a few drunken evenings started posting on /talk. Survived that, and have spent many an evening there with those lovely people too.
I am constantly amazed with how creative and inventive people can be with their pictures, words or videos, amused by the battle of wills and clashes of personalities, and often overwhelmed at how bloody lovely people can be to each other in times of crisis, of one kind or another.
I have been lucky enough to have met some of you and now have some smashing RL friends because of it. Others I consider friends I have just not met yet.
I SUPPOSE I should also mention I now have a smashing b3tan man in my life, who, like you lot, makes me smile every day.
