I never held babies that were offered for fear of breaking them, till my own one arrived...First time i ever held a baby was when my daughter was born and the midwife thrust her into my arms and walked off. My wife was still in the room being sown back up after emergency c-section. I stood there for about 20 minutes too terrified to move about in case i dropped the baby.

Lols same for me too. Still one of the most amazing moments of my life. Just held my second boy yesterday for the first time.
