Hmmm"At one point he spotted some kids (12-14ish at a guess) in the mosh pit. To save them from getting crushed or booted out, he got them on stage for half the gig, one of the lovliest things I've seen."
Jimmy Saville used to do the same sort of thing and everyone thought he was lovely too...
