This is a question Banks

Your Ginger Fuhrer froths, "I hate my bank. Not because of debt or anything but because I hate being sold to - possibly pathologically so - and everytime I speak to them they try and sell me services. Gold cards, isas, insurance, you know the crap. It drives me insane. I ALREADY BANK WITH YOU. STOP IT. YOU MAKE ME FRIGHTED TO DO MY NORMAL BANKING. I'm angry even thinking about them."

So, tell us your banking stories of woe.

No doubt at least one of you has shagged in the vault, shat on a counter or thrown up in a cash machine. Or something

I agree with this post.
Fifteen year...no problems. It's making me a bit paranoid.
Coop Bank, however. Ethical, but utter numpties. Avoid like the plague.

agreed...ish
I've had a few minor disagreements with them, but overall I'm moderately happy. Which is about the best you can hope for from a company whose business is to charge you for getting at your own money.

the thing that bugged me about 1st direct
is that their savings account charges you 1 months interest on the entire balance for any withdrawl. that is ridiculous. There isn't an option to give them 1 months notice. Thus as soon as you want to withdraw from the savings account, you might as well close the account and move it somewhere else. Yes it was in the small print, but I didn't see it. Thus the cheeky boogers can go play with themselves.
