Banks
Your Ginger Fuhrer froths, "I hate my bank. Not because of debt or anything but because I hate being sold to - possibly pathologically so - and everytime I speak to them they try and sell me services. Gold cards, isas, insurance, you know the crap. It drives me insane. I ALREADY BANK WITH YOU. STOP IT. YOU MAKE ME FRIGHTED TO DO MY NORMAL BANKING. I'm angry even thinking about them."
So, tell us your banking stories of woe.
No doubt at least one of you has shagged in the vault, shat on a counter or thrown up in a cash machine. Or something

Banks can actually be nice, once in a while
When I was a student, and much less clueless about my money, I was nobbled by bank charges. So far, so expected.
Thing was, the charges had swallowed up my birthday money. Which was a bit of a bugger, as you might expect. However, upon explaining the situation, Abbey very kindly refunded my charges, as it was in fact the day of my birthday and I very much wanted to get drunk that evening. Which, true to my student (and current) form, I did.
And that's pretty much the only time I've raised a glass in a bank's honour.
I now bank with the Co-operative, and I have no complaints whatsoever.

I was a similarly well-organised student
and the breadline-living which goes with the lifestyle resulted in a bank charge taking me overdrawn. This happened for about 6 months, each month managing to keep back just enough for the next charge to take me slightly over my limit, incurring a repeat charge the next month.
When I finally got round to calling them, they checked my account, acknowledged that it was their fee that took me overlimit in the first place, and refunded all the other charges incurred since.
I was actually suitably impressed by this.
