This is a question Banks

Your Ginger Fuhrer froths, "I hate my bank. Not because of debt or anything but because I hate being sold to - possibly pathologically so - and everytime I speak to them they try and sell me services. Gold cards, isas, insurance, you know the crap. It drives me insane. I ALREADY BANK WITH YOU. STOP IT. YOU MAKE ME FRIGHTED TO DO MY NORMAL BANKING. I'm angry even thinking about them."

So, tell us your banking stories of woe.

No doubt at least one of you has shagged in the vault, shat on a counter or thrown up in a cash machine. Or something

I...
Totally agree with number one, and three in this list...

BT - completely useless when it comes with dealing with payments, especially as both myself and the missus have spent the best part of a year continuously having to ask BT to set up direct debits.

We have to go through this process EVERY month, we don't know why, we actually have our details by the telephone on the wall as it happens so regularly.

When we contact BT, we either end up in India (or other soundalike nation..) or talking to that speaking clock woman who does'nt understand which numbers you press on the touch-tone handset.

As for N-Power - they were single-handedly responsible for shutting down my previous workplace after sending a bill literally a week after we'd payed a previous balance of over £1300 - for a similar amount which was a 'forecasted' amount, this was duly supported by a visit from baliffs a few days later...

How can you be charged for a supply you havent used yet? - let alone hassled by bailiffs in such a short space of time.

My boss gave up, we gave up, our small business closed.

Fuck you NPower - Fuck you all to hell in a handcart, down a cobbled street full of sharp spikey things covered in salt, vinegar and cats piss..

As for Banks, I havent had many problems with them really - mainly cause' I don't have a mortgage (yet), I keep my cash elsewhere (what little I have of it), and the missus deals with all our banking affairs.

Her experience with banks, on the otherhand, is somewhat different, and involves a lot of swearing should the subject arise.
