I tooFind this insanely annoying, as a 6'3" person I'm not exactly a freak, yet I have unbelievable trouble seeing the screen on some cash machines. I end up craning my neck down, bending my knees and squatting slightly, it must look like I'm about to crimp off in front of the cash machine. My thought was that it must be to make them wheelchair-accessible.
