Last week I saw a helium balloon cross the road at the lights on a perfectly timed gust of wind. Today I saw four people trying to get into a GWiz electric car. They failed.
What's the best thing you've seen recently?

who turns one in two weeks, stood up by himself for 12 seconds last night, the whole time grinning madly at me and saying "Dadadadadadadadad!".
When my memory goes and I can't remember where I put the car keys or how to use a toilet, if I can still remember that moment I'll consider myself doing just fine.

I happened to be holding a camera the first time our lad stood up, and his dad shouted 'Quick! Take a picture!'
Somewhere I have a snap of him standing bandy-legged in a caravan doorway, naked but for a nappy, gripping his dummy with both fists!

but if I ever manage to procreate it's that sort of memory that I'll die smiling at!

Can't remember how old my boy was, but he was just beginning to talk. He hadn't been well so I had been up all night with him. At a time that I felt it reasonable to call "morning" I carried my sleeping son into the kitchen to make a cuppa. He lazily opened his eyes, looked at me and said, sleepily, "Dad dad" then went back to sleep.
These are the things that stop us wringing their necks...
