Is it just Mrs G......or do the rest of you suddenly go really cheerful when "Mr P comes to town", as opposed to the moodyness for the day or two before? I can tell the exact moment 'he arrives' by the complete change in mood.
The problems during the actual 5 days are as nothing compared to the couple of days leading up.
