In my first year at uniwe were doing an experiment which involved making several chemicals that were supposed to do various things to red blood cells, and then testing them on the cells to see if we'd made the compounds correctly. However when it came to the actual testing, I hadn't quite thought through what was going to happen and what we were going to observe. Hence me making this wonderful observation when the vial of cells was brought carefully out of the prep room:
"Ooooh, the blood is red!"
in front of my entire year group. And the future of this country's industry is in my hands. *Cackles*
