aah, beetroot...
whilst visiting the in-laws for the first time 2 christmases ago, in Poland, after 3 days of almost constant vodka drinking...
i went for a pee...
and only realised 5 minutes later, when my wife and her family burst out laughing...
that it wasn't permanent kidney damage from alcohol abuse but simply over-indulgence in barscz...phew! what a relief! but i did feel like a prick...

that's beetroot soup BTW
