This book changed my life
The Goat writes, "Some books have made a huge impact on my life." It's true. It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.
What books have changed the way you think, the way you live, or just gave you a rollicking good time?
Friendly hint: A bit of background rather than just a bunch of book titles would make your stories more readable

Drafting Financial Statements (2008 International Accounting Standards)
I'm required to read and completely understand this entire tome. Yes, it's just as exciting as it sounds. I have 4 weeks to the exam. I still can't read more than 10 pages of it without falling into a brief coma.
Ditto for "Personal Taxation Computations (2007-8 standards).
Not much contribution from me this week, as I haven't read for pleasure in quite some time!

What qualification are you studying for?
Just out of professional interest

Am a prufeshunul, man!
@ Col. Vlad
They're my last two exams for AAT.
@ Poultry vixen.
Attending college two nights per week and studying until 1am most nights on top of my full time job in a tv newsroom and looking after my toddler whenever I'm home is giving me some impressive cheek-luggage. I think some goth / emo folk must be finding my increasingly panda-esque black eyes a real turn on. (Apols for poor grammar and / or spelling ;-b )

Well goodluck Greencloud
I passed my final ACCA professional exam in December. The last few years have been horrible, and now that I have the time to watch TV it turns out that it's turned into lowest common denominator drivel.
Time to sit the institute of taxation exams?
