It wasn't until the b3ta mods read the Flashman novels that we changed from mild-mannered computer operators into heavily-whiskered copulators, poltroons and all round bastards in a well-known cavalry regiment.

Kids in the cub scoutsAgain, can't remember the book series, but there were a series of books about a bunch of cubs scouts going on adventures.
Cub scouts went by the stereotypical names of
Nobby Clark (ringleader I think!)
Chalky White
Smudger Smith
I only read them because my Last names 'Smith' which co-incidentally I was nicknamed 'Smudge' at school.
They were very funny to read (from a 9 year old perpective anyway!)
Anyone know what they were called?
