As I have mentioned once beforeI informed my then girlfriend that I had going to ask her to marry me whilst we were on holiday in Ecuador but then didn't because I realised that I really didn't want to. Strangely this revelation did not strengthen our bond.

It was funny for me ( in hindsight at least)But no, I don't imagine it tickles many people's funny bones. My lack of humour is one of the wonderful failings she missed out on.
