There was me thinking it wasn't so much pregnancy as being a slattern.

Also, a woman had to be careful to have the men feel her breasts evenly
as a right-handed man, say, would naturally feel her left breast more than her right. It would consequently grow bigger than the other and look silly.

They do, however, swell up a bit
when the owner has the horn. Hurrah for the horn!

That's probably what he'd heard somewhere at about 13 and misunderstood.
He truly believed that the growth was incremental though.
