Cars
"Here in my car", said 80s pop hero Gary Numan, "I feel safest of all". He obviously never shared the same stretch of road as me, then. Automotive tales of mirth and woe, please.

As my old dad used to say
If you're tired, get out from in front of the car; if you're exhausted, get out from behind the car.
Still not funny, is it?

No. No it's not.
My dad is still dining out on "Vhy did the viper viper nose? Because the adder adder 'ankerchief."
He's 73.

I guess that's better than the cat joke I posted last week
How do you catch a unique cat?
Unique up on it.

Are you...
... my long-lost brother?
My father is 74 and still trots out the "why did the viper" gag from time to time. I've tried it on my 12 year old son, and the boy doesn't find it at all amusing. But then he was born in California. He's got a different sense of humour.
At least he still likes poop jokes.

Always a sign of a good upbringing.
He'll go far, that lad of yours (despite his poor, unfortunate beginnings )
