What nonsense did you believe in as a kid?
Ever thought that you could get flushed down the loo? That girls wee out their bottoms? Or that bumming means two men rubbing their bums together? Tell us about your childhood misconceptions. Thanks to Joefish for the suggestion.

I had never heard of (or possibly forgotten about) Dasani...
So I googled it. Bloody hell!
"Early advertisements referred to Dasani as "bottled spunk" or featured the tagline "can't live without spunk". These slogans were used seemingly oblivious to the fact that spunk is slang for semen in the UK"
Ha ha haa!

I remember it well...
Never drank it though.
One of the other things about it was that there were so many additives and minerals, that it wasn't allowed to be sold as plain "water" any more.

The main 'problem' with it was
that in the US, they saw nothing wrong with taking tap water, filtering it, adding chemicals and bottling it as 'purified water' or something, whereas in the UK, we thought that was shit, and water that has been 'filtered through mountains from pure rainwater' must be better for you.
