The original idea came from a website somewhere...he used acetone to melt the card. I'd have used a sonic screwdriver (as the new device, not to extract the chip)

But seems like the new cards are made of different stuff, or the antenna specifically, making the process much more difficult.

ooh!...now, bolting a chip into a replica sonic-screwdriver could be even better!
...or how about a 12" dildo?
