The most childish thing you've done as an adultDavros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

You're not a builder are you, by any chance?I ask because I was discussing something with a builder a while back, and he was about to describe something as being oblong when he apparently had second thoughts about using such a juvenile word. He saved himself from being thought childish by cunningly switching to a more grown-up word halfway through and came out with "oblongular".
I kept a straight face briefly, until his mate keeled over laughing.
"Oblongular" is now a word I try to use whenever possible.
