rose tinted glasses i thinkgrifters were proto-mountain bikes, minus the technology.m Made with reinforced cast iron, that made lifting it something of an olympic event.
I never had one, but instead a 10 speed racer that weighed probably just as much as a grifter.

Nope, certainly not.I was given it when I was about 8 or 9 (I'm 31 now) by a now semi-famous Moto-X rider.
