I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

Meh, I like 'em.I wouldn't present them as the be-all and end-all of literature, but I like em.
And as for the comparison to Dan Brown... I know different strokes for different folks, but I read the davinci code a while ago and it was the only book I've ever read that actually jolted me out of my reading-inspired-trance because it was so artlessly and clumsily written.
