I don't understand the attraction
Smaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

bah
He's still annoying. It's like the cheesiness of Bill Giles's wink, but stretched out over the entire forecast, interspersed with stupid little pointers like "It's going cold over Lincolnshire...might want to wear a scarf and a hat if you're out there...". I think he's best suited to providing weather forecasts for old people's homes.
He also apparently had a very successful career in the States, so I hold him and Hugh Grant jointly responsible for the Merkin's inaccurate idea of the "typical British man"
