I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

I agreeHe tries to paint himself as a sort of modern-day Oscar Wilde, but he doesn't actually have anything to say, so his gratuitous flowery language is tedious and uninteresting. Like he's bragging about knowing long words.
Kudos to the guy for getting off heroine and making a living but his subsequent sex addiction means his problems aren't solved, just redirected and now his sorry self gratification is on public display and being aspired to by the very stupid people you mention in your last paragraph.
