I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

TV adverts shot on VHS...... or whatever it is they use. Probably some arse-clenchingly expensive Adobe Aftereffects plugin that makes it look like it was shot on a Panasonic NV-MS1 that's been dropped.
Why do they do it? Are wobbly shots and horrible smeary grainy video supposed to make it look more appealing somehow?

There's no such thing as 'grainy video'...Film is grainy. Video is noisy.

It's cheap.Probably find it either HAS been shot on a VHS machine, or is more likely to be foreign and the conversion to PAL hasn't been a very comitted process.
