I don't understand the attractionSmaug says: Ricky Gervais. Lesbian pr0n. Going into a crowded bar, purely because it's crowded. All these things seem to be popular with everybody else, but I just can't work out why. What leaves you cold just as much as it turns everyone else on?

Football ManagerOn the one hand is like a glorified Railroad Tycoon or Dope Wars (both hugely popular), where as a kind of nerdy hobby it's a game of trying to become as successful as possible via the "buy cheap sell big" kind of mentality. It is hugely satisfying running a tight ship.
And then on the other hand, every football fan has a grand scheme of how to do things. Just check a message board or two about how Grimsby should sign Ronaldinho or how they should employ a revolutionary 2-3-5 tactic. For the most part they are idiots, and FM can actually educate people on the intricies of football.
