I think the legal limit thing is a myth, and it's 16 for everyone, regardless of gender/sexuality (you can actually thank Labour for getting that equality sorted out...back before 9/11 and the shitty policies that followed).

I wonder why you were getting the mum's anger, and not the underaged daughter who asked for a drink and was willing to kiss a stranger for it.
