RENT!!!The worst part of the credit crunch is the rent. I'm in Brisbane and the rent prices have doubled in the last three years. I know some people who have gone from paying 90$pw to 200$pw. Couple this with rising unemployment and the city has big problems......I've given up on the idea of ever buying a flat as I will never have a job that is secure enough to get a bank loan, and as I have just finished paying off two university degrees I have no money for a deposit.
