This is a question The Credit Crunch

Did you score a bargain in Woolworths?
Meet someone nice in the queue to withdraw your 10p from Northern Rock?
Get made redundant from the job you hated enough to spend all day on b3ta?

How has the credit crunch affected you?

You can offload all sorts of rubbish too, if it happens to be what someone else needs.
The Freecycle 'wanted' ads usually strike me as a bit pathetic, though. Haven't these people heard of car boot sales?

If I 'want' something expensive (as opposed to actually needing it) I wait a while for some well-off/impulsive idiot to buy it first, get bored with it and flog it off at the booty.

My £2 Sumo suit came into my life that way. It was Fate.

I've got rid of a lot of shit via freecycle
got a couple of nice pieces too.

it's mostly wanted adverts these days though, which pisses me off. they shouldn't be allowed.
