Yes.It's all made up by the powers that be who like to control the population by means of fear. There is plenty of evidence linking the appearance of this control mechanism to the rise of thatcherism in the UK (aided by the noted looney John Nash) with the declaration "there is no such thing as society"....
..It's just like Global Warming, which also doesn't exist. And Peak Oil, another well known myth....
