The AshesMy grandfather wasn't a particularly nice man, but the lovely memories I have of him are watching the cricket. It started when I was 12 when we first sat in absolutely comfortable silence watching it and only having the odd ooh and aah breaking the day.
The Ashes were a special occasion where we would actually talk a few sentences about how much we want Australia to win.
