I've had that too with mushies - wouldnt put me off though.
Of the 'good' experiences I've had on mushies, I've found they generally occur when you are accompanied on your 'journey' by a trusted companion.

It didn't stop me trying them again....
and again and again, etc...

I just knew what to expect after that.

And I soon learnt to accept that I would throw up. Every. Single. Time.
