Happens all the time.....in Germany. They're called "Falschfahrer" and they're either suicides, pissed out of their minds or old folks who missed their turn, and have turned round and gone back the other way.
This is on the German Autobahn, where, technically, there is no speed limit.
You can imagine the mess.
